We are almost ready to ship the orders, so I'm sure you all are getting pretty excited! I've been trolling Ravelry looking for the perfect project in which to pair these 2 colorways. Though both colorways are on MCN sock bases with the same fiber content, Wishing Ewe Well's base is a high-twist, which makes it an ever-so-slightly thicker yarn. This will just create additional texture when knit with Vanity!
For the past few months I have been obsessed with Pipped to the Post by Helen Kennedy. And I think it will look amazing in "Wishing..." and "Vanity". So much so that I'm considering organizing a Knit Along once I get back from Knit Dizzney and catch my breath.
We've also put our heads together and found several more knitting and crochet patterns to recommend.
Inscribed Diamond Shawl by Rachel Beth. This might be a good crochet alternative for the KAL!
Stained Glass Shawlette by Kay Adolphson
Cyclic Cowl by Kira K Designs
Friends to the End by Lisa Cook
Gardens of Giverny Stole by Alina Appasova
Stepping Stones by Julie Knits in Paris
Lapis by Yamagara Knits
Breathe and Hope by Casapinka
Line Top by Pernille Larsen
Do you know of any other designs that would look good worked up in the collection yarn? Please share them in the comments!
Over the past few years we have admired the handmade, crocheted and knitted Disney ears that some of our event attendees have worn to our meet-ups.
This year I'd love to see as many beautiful stitchers' heads adorned with these beauties as possible, so, we're going to give you an incentive.
Everyone who wears handmade "ears" will get an extra raffle ticket to better their chances at winning one of our door prizes. The ears can be knit, crochet, or other any other version of hand-made. And to help even more, I've dropping links to several patterns here in this post.
The Ever After Ears by Nicole Rogowski (crochet)
Crocheted Minnie Mouse Ears and Headband from Repeat Crafter Me
Crocheted Mouse Ears from Whistle and Ivy
And if you want a more thematic set of ears... Mini Poisoned Apples by Svetlana Hurova might be a way to go.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any knitting patterns for the ears, so if someone has a resource, please drop it in the comments, and I'll add it to the list.
Can't wait to see everyone in 2 weeks!!!
Sorry for the radio silence of late, we have all been working diligently on your Heart in a Box Collection orders so that we might ship them out in time for you all to receive them before our event. But I wanted to let you all know that we haven't forgotten about you. In fact, I came here to drop some meet-up details for you all, and to let you know that we are, in fact, still alive and well.

...in our 2025 Knit Dizzney Collection, and a last-minute attempt to tempt any of the fence-sitters out there: some more gauge swatches....
This is how Wishing Ewe Well knits up. We LOVE the shifts of subtle color! I'm considering pairing the 2 skeins from this year's collection together in a single project.
Wow! Do I have something gorgeous for you to feast your eyes on. As if the yarn wasn't enough, right? I now have pictures of the completed project bag, and let me tell you, I can't wait to get my hands on mine! Silvia from Not Knots outdid herself this year! Talk about "fairest of them all!"
The exterior fabric features deer, owls, foxes and bunnies, set amongst lush forest greenery. The bag features a webbed wrist handle, which is perfect for hanging off your wrist while you knit or crochet in line for your favorite Disney theme park rides. It also has a beaded, color coordinating parachute cord drawstring with a locking toggle so when you finally get on that favorite ride, your project won't escape as you are either turned upside down, plummeting down a waterfall, or floating weightless out of your seat....KD virtual game is a go! This year, we're shaking things up and we're hosting a virtual quiz show on the page. The game starts ...
