Now, what would a "Princess and the Frog"-themed Knit Dizzney be without a colorway inspired by the lead character?  And who better to capture the essence of Miss Tiana Carter than Lazer Sheep Yarns? Without further ado we would like to present our second colorway for this year's event...

"Dig a Little Sheeper" will soon be available for pre-sale.  We are offering Dig a Little Sheeper on the same sumptuous Sock base as The Bee's Knees.  That's 100 grams and 463 yards of 75% superwash merino/25% nylon in a cool combination of  bayou cypress, juicy pear, and sunshine, with speckles of blue skies...guaranteed!  All this amazing yardage for only $28!

"Dig a Little Sheeper" will be dyed on an "as ordered" basis, so please allow 2-3 weeks after the pre-sale closes for delivery.

"Dig a Little Sheeper" is available for pre-order to everyone, but for a limited time only.  Since we wish to ship orders in time for you to have them for the event, there is a cut-off date of July 27, 2024 to ensure pre-event delivery.  Otherwise, if you wish to purchase this colorway AFTER the pre-sale closes, you will be able to purchase it directly from Lazer Sheep Yarns while supplies last.  (link will be activated once the pre-sale closes).

And as always, there will be a bonus incentive if you order the whole collection, which will be revealed once the entire collection is announced.

Down in New Orleans

Ahhhh!  New Orleans -- The music -- The food -- The culture -- The Color  

It doesn't seem possible, but Disney's Princess and the Frog is celebrating their 15th anniversary this year!  As if that isn't enough, we are also celebrating the opening of the new "Taina's Bayou Adventure" attraction at both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland.  I, for one, can't wait to experience both!

And so it begins!  This year we are excited to offer 2 colorways inspired by The Princess and the Frog.  And we just can't wait to share them with you!

 Our first colorway comes from Dizzy Blonde Studios, who gathered inspiration from that sweet, sassy, lovable flapper, Charlotte "Lottie" LaBouff, and it's the Bee's Knees...literally! 

Pink is definitely Lottie's signature color, and this colorway absolutely delivers!

Knit Dizzney 2024

We're starting to get into the swing of things for this year's Knit Dizzney event, and we couldn't be more jazzed!  But first, I hope you saved the date!  That's right, this year's Knit Dizzney will be September 14 & 15 at the Disneyland Resort.  Also, make sure you follow this blog by clicking the "follow" button over there in on the right.  And to make sure you don't miss a thing, you should also follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Now that we got that out of the way, let's move on to the stuff you really came here for! This year's Knit Dizzney is brought to you by Dizzy Blonde Studios and Lazer Sheep Yarns, and introducing Dragonfish Handmade Goods!

We thought that the timing was more than appropriate for this year's theme.  Have you guessed it yet?  I think I made it easy this year.  With the new attraction opening in both US parks, this year's theme is none other than Disney's 2009 full-length animated feature, "The Princess and the Frog".  Cuz, you know, as yarn crafters we all know about frogging!

Over the next couple of weeks we will be revealing our 2024 Knit Dizzney Collection, event details and additional fun stuff we have in store for y'all!
