Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho...

...KD virtual game is a go!

This year, we're shaking things up and we're hosting a virtual quiz show on the page.  The game starts tomorrow Monday 9/8 and goes on through Saturday 9/13.  We'll be posting a couple questions a day, at random times, but always before 6pm pacific.  These questions are based on the 1937 feature film Snow White. Comment your answer(s) on the respective posts on that day.

First person to answer correctly in the comments will get an entry to a prize drawing.
Second person to answer "creatively" in the comments will also get an entry to the prize drawing.

Creatively could mean the following, and will be selected by the Knit Dizzney team.
1) a screenshot of the answer
2) a sketch of the answer
3) a photo of the answer

Remember, these questions will appear on the Knit DizzneyFacebook page at random times, so if you make sure you follow the page and turn on notifications.

Good luck!

Whistle While you Work...

We are almost ready to ship the orders, so I'm sure you all are getting pretty excited!  I've been trolling Ravelry looking for the perfect project in which to pair these 2 colorways.  Though both colorways are on MCN sock bases with the same fiber content, Wishing Ewe Well's base is a high-twist, which makes it an ever-so-slightly thicker yarn.  This will just create additional texture when knit with Vanity!

For the past few months I have been obsessed with Pipped to the Post by Helen Kennedy.  And I think it will look amazing in "Wishing..." and "Vanity".  So much so that I'm considering organizing a Knit Along once I get back from Knit Dizzney and catch my breath.

We've also put our heads together and found several more knitting and crochet patterns to recommend.

Crochet

Inscribed Diamond Shawl by Rachel Beth.  This might be a good crochet alternative for the KAL!

Stained Glass Shawlette by Kay Adolphson

Cyclic Cowl by Kira K Designs

Friends to the End by Lisa Cook

Knit

Gardens of Giverny Stole by Alina Appasova

Stepping Stones by Julie Knits in Paris

Lapis by Yamagara Knits

Breathe and Hope by Casapinka

Line Top by Pernille Larsen

Do you know of any other designs that would look good worked up in the collection yarn?  Please share them in the comments!
